Bio

I am a musician, which I’ve been playing the drums since I was about 7 years old. Throughout the years, I have been a drummer in 3 bands not including school bands. I also play guitar, bass, keyboard, and I sing as well. It wasn’t until I was doing karaoke in 2007 when I decided I wanted to sing more on a permanent basis. In 2011, I recorded my debut solo album. It’s self-titled, and it has 4 songs. It was recorded and mastered in 4 hours at Gremlen Studios in Aurora, Illinois. I did all of the vocals and played all of the instruments on the album, of course.

I got into Punk music when I was young, when I was about 9 or 10. My brother Randy was the drummer for a local punk band by the name The Rodmans. Since his band would often practice at our house, and I would go to alot of his concerts, I got hooked. Even though I do listen to just about every genre out there, Punk music just has an energy and a vibe that draws me to it the most.

I am a graduate of the Illinois Center for Broadcasting, which I graduated in July 2012. On Friday Nights at 8:00 p.m. (CST), I am the host of Dirty Ryan’s Anarchy Hour for the internet radio station Outside The Dial. I was born, I grew up, and I currently live in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I am originally from Beecher, but moved out when I was 13.

The bands and artists that have inspired me are: The Rodmans, Rancid, Screeching Weasel, Pegboy, Ramones, and Elvis Presley.
